Toronto Tech Week 2025: A New Era for the City’s Tech Community

Toronto, February 18, 2025 – Toronto is set to become the center of innovation this summer with the launch of Toronto Tech Week, a citywide event taking place from June 23 to June 27, 2025.

This new initiative, supported by the City of Toronto, Shopify, Google Cloud, and over 40 community partners, aims to bring together startups, tech leaders, and investors to celebrate and strengthen Toronto’s role as a global tech powerhouse.

What to Expect

Toronto Tech Week will feature hundreds of events across the city, including:

• Panels and fireside chats with industry leaders
• Demos and hackathons showcasing cutting-edge technology
• Networking and social events to connect entrepreneurs and investors
• Open houses and workshops hosted by leading tech organizations

Unlike traditional conferences, this event follows an open and decentralized format, allowing businesses, universities, and tech communities to participate and host their own events.

A Platform for Innovation

Toronto has established itself as a leader in AI, FinTech, and e-commerce, and Toronto Tech Week aims to highlight this growth on the global stage.
